Shipping Agency Operator Assistant

Job Description:

  • Responsible for daily communication and coordination with international shipowners, port authorities, suppliers, etc.
  • Handle all agency documentation, paperwork, and data entry for project vessels in port.
  • Arrange ship import/export formalities, crew changes, and supply of provisions and stores.
  • Assist in resolving various unexpected issues encountered by vessels during port stay to ensure smooth operations.
  • Complete other tasks related to international ship agency as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: A degree in Navigation, Maritime Studies, Logistics, International Trade, Foreign Languages, or related fields is preferred.
  • Language: Fluent spoken English is required, with the ability to use it as a working language. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (both spoken and written) is essential for effective communication within the team and with key partners.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a ship agency role is highly advantageous.
