About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Scrap Paper's Checker to join our retail team at PAPERLAND, INCORPORATED' in Balong Bato, Quezon City. As a Scrap Paper's Checker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate sorting and processing of our customers' scrap paper materials. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Carefully inspect and sort scrap paper materials according to type, grade, and condition
  • Accurately weigh and record the quantity of each scrap paper item
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide guidance on the scrap paper sorting process
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to support efficient operations
  • Collaborate with the wider retail team to provide excellent customer service
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar scrap paper or retail role
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Good numerical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate scrap paper processing
  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach to work
  • Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
