This role involves developing and maintaining compliance frameworks, overseeing regulatory submissions, and ensuring the organization's adherence to privacy laws.

The DPO works closely with internal teams, legal partners, and third-party service providers to implement and monitor compliance and data protection policies effectively. Your Responsibilities:Regulatory Compliance:Ensure the company complies with regulations from agencies such as SEC, AMLC, BIR, CIC, DOLE, IPO, and LGUs. Maintain a record of zero compliance violations and ensure all regulatory reports are submitted accurately and on time.

Manage and coordinate the preparation and timely submission of regulatory filings while resolving any compliance issues with relevant business units. Review, negotiate, and approve compliance-related terms and conditions in contracts with external service providers. Internal Compliance:Establish, enforce, and audit internal compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines while addressing any identified violations.

Provide compliance-related advice and guidance to various departments. Ensure all deliverables requested by external legal counsel are completed accurately and on schedule. Oversee internal compliance projects and present monthly progress reports to the Board's Credit and Risk Committee.

Data Privacy Compliance:Ensure 100% on-time submission of all required reports under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, including breach notifications and annual privacy filings. Implement and monitor data privacy policies across business operations, ensuring continuous adherence. Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and provide necessary approvals for new projects or external partnerships.

Oversee internal audits and third-party data privacy reviews, ensuring compliance with data protection standards. Design and deliver monthly training sessions on data privacy and security, ensuring full execution of the training calendar. What our Client is Looking

For:At least 3 years of experience in compliance, data protection, and privacy. Must hold a valid Data Protection Officer (DPO) certification. Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance and data privacy frameworks.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects independently. Thorough understanding of Philippine laws related to compliance, data privacy, and data protection. Experience working with legal teams and external counsel, especially on compliance and privacy matters.
