The
Production and Procurement Specialist
will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process — from sourcing and evaluating vendors to negotiating pricing and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials and services. The role focuses on optimizing cost, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and supporting the company's operational and financial goals through efficient purchasing strategies.

Responsibilities
Vendor Sourcing & Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key vendors to ensure consistent supply and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and resolve any vendor-related issues.
Purchasing & Procurement:
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Production, Finance, and Logistics) to identify purchasing needs and priorities.
- Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
Costing & Quotation Management:
- Request and analyze supplier quotations to determine the most competitive pricing and terms.
- Prepare cost comparisons and recommend best-value options for approval.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives and identify opportunities for procurement savings.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and vendor databases.
- Prepare periodic reports on purchase activities, vendor performance, and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards, and ethical practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing (preferably in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, retail, or trading]).
- Strong background in vendor sourcing, vendor management, costing, and quotation analysis.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
