About the Role

We are urgently seeking a full-time offshore lawyer to support an Australian client. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong legal expertise in corporate and commercial law. This is a fully remote (work from home) position, offering the chance to work closely with international stakeholders while managing legal matters for a fast-paced client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
  • Provide legal advice on corporate, compliance, and cross-border transactions.
  • Support international business matters between Australia and China.
  • Liaise directly with clients, partners, and stakeholders in both Mandarin and English.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) / Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent.
  • Admission to practice law in a recognized jurisdiction (preferred).
  • 3–5+ years' experience in corporate or commercial law.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of international and cross-border legal frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
