Job description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the Parts team to achieve efficiency and productivity goals.
  • Oversee the ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of automotive parts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits to minimize discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper documentation for purchase orders, invoices, returns, and warranty claims.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure quality parts at competitive prices.
  • Support the Service Department by ensuring parts availability for repair and maintenance jobs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Workshop teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare reports on stock usage, sales trends, and departmental performance.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient parts warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in automotive parts management or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, inventory control, and supplier networks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and dealership/parts management software.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
