Welder

The Welder is responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal parts and structures using various welding techniques. Ensures all welding work complies with safety standards, technical drawings, and quality requirements.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Set up welding machines and select appropriate welding methods
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Inspect welded surfaces, structures, and components to detect flaws and ensure quality.
• Perform cutting, grinding, and finishing of welded joints.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and welding machines in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and fire prevention measures.
• Assist in fabrication and assembly of metal structures or automotive parts.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and co-workers to meet production goals.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent; vocational or TESDA certification in welding is preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder in an automotive, construction, or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of welding techniques.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy tools and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
