Role Overview

The Head of Talent leads the Talent Department, overseeing both recruitment and staffer success. This role ensures the company attracts, hires, and retains top talent while supporting staffers in achieving their full potential and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to meet current and future staffing needs.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle—from job posting to onboarding—ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles.
Staffer Success & Retention
  • Design and lead initiatives that help staffers excel in their roles and grow professionally.
  • Monitor performance, provide feedback, and create clear development pathways.
  • Identify and address factors affecting staffer satisfaction, motivation, and retention.
  • Promote a culture that aligns with company values and supports high performance.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Manage and develop the Talent team, setting clear goals and providing mentorship.
  • Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with HR/Operations to ensure policies and processes enable staffers to succeed.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
  • Track and report on key metrics such as time-to-hire, staffer performance trends, and retention rates.
  • Continuously improve recruitment and staffer success processes based on data and feedback.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in recruitment and employee success/engagement leadership roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive, and high-performance work environment.
