Educational Requirements

Licensure & Certification

  • Architectural Licensure Examination (ALE): Required in the Philippines, administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
  • Professional Registration: Must be registered as a licensed architect.
  • LEED Certification: Optional but valuable for sustainable design credentials.

Skills & Experience

  • Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and BIM tools.
  • Project Management: Experience managing design teams, consultants, and contractors.
  • Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and construction documentation.
  • Design Expertise: Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and functional architectural solutions.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to coordinate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders effectively.

Experience Levels

  • Entry-Level: 1–2 years of experience, often through internships or junior roles.
  • Mid-Level: 3–5 years, with experience in residential, commercial, or public projects.
  • Senior-Level: 5+ years, including leadership in large-scale projects and team management.
