About the Role

This is more than bookkeeping—it's financial storytelling. You'll manage month-end, own reporting, keep us compliant, and help senior leaders make smart, strategic decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Run full month-end accounting processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and keep financials squeaky clean.
  • Maintain Xero and supporting systems.
  • Prepare reports that actually get read.
  • Manage ATO/BAS, payroll, and super obligations.
  • Collaborate on audits and improve our processes.

Requirements

About You

  • You're thorough but efficient. A planner who's not afraid to pivot.
  • You ask great questions and get the details right without losing sight of the big picture.

About YOUR Work History

  • 3+ years' experience in Australian accounting.
  • You've used Xero daily and deeply.
  • You know your way around BAS, PAYG, and super.
  • Bonus: You've worked with distributed teams.
