JOB SUMMARYLeads in attaining the unit's objectives of maintaining an adequate level of liquidity for funding obligations, complying with reserve requirements, and other relevant requirements of the bank about fund management;Ensures compliance with internal and regulator limits about reserves;Assists in balance sheet management by preparing all required information; and

Determines Transfer Pool and Time Deposit Rates for the Bank.Manages cash flow and liquidity position in coordination with the Treasury Head to attain Treasury's funding and liquidity objectives. These include:Analyzing daily bank-wide cash flow and liquidity position to determine the appropriate mix of funding sources, optimizing cash flow while considering the maturity and liquidity profile of earning assets and liabilities; and

Implementing daily plans and strategies aligned with the objectives set by the Treasury Head. Ensures compliance with BSP regulations, market practices, and internal limits concerning regulatory reserves positions and limits;Develops, operates, and maintains an effective internal control system to ensure all funding requirements are properly prepared accurately and timely;Monitors the Demand Deposit Account with BSP to ensure daily and weekly reserve requirements are met;Invests excess funds through facilities such as:Overnight Deposit Facility;Term Deposit Facility;Reverse Repurchase;BSP Securities Facility;Overnight Lending Facility; and

Fixed Income Securities (FVOCI)Ensures the best lending and borrowing rates are obtained in the inter-bank market;Manages DFOB accounts and ensures compliance with all ADB requirements;Recommends weekly or as necessary, to the Treasury Head, the transfer of pool pricing and time deposit rates for the bank;Acts as Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) Secretariat;Prepares ALCO reports needed for decision-making every week; and

Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in accounting, business, management, or finance;SEC Certified Fixed Income Securities Salesman;At least BAP Certified Money Market Dealer; and

At least five (5) years of related work experience.
