Job Description:

  • Manage foreign exchange and money markets within approved limits.
  • Quotes applicable FX and Money Market rates to the bank's clients and interbank market
  • Monitors funding requirements and manages the bank's overall liquidity.
  • Engage in dealings with head office/branches, BSP, or bank counterparties to manage the different accounts and position of the branch.
  • Monitors and ensures the bank's compliance with local regulations governing treasury-related transactions (Reserve Requirement, Liquidity Coverage Ratio, etc.)
  • Manage the bank's investment holdings in line with bank policy.
  • Prepares and submits required reports and limit applications to Head Office Treasury
  • Conducts the review of manuals/policies relating to Treasury Front Office
  • Provide closing rates and other relevant information to the other business units.
  • Report IBCL result to BSP via MOS
  • Identifying and mitigating risks such as currency fluctuations, interest rate changes and credit risk.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Treasury Professional
  • With a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Financial Management, or equivalent
  • With at least 7-10 years experience in treasury/trading
  • Advance computer skills in MS Office.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills.
  • Excellent in English verbal and written communication.
