Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and resourceful Recruiter with a strong background in hiring for automotive, blue-collar, and skilled trades roles, both onshore and offshore. This role demands someone who truly understands the challenges and opportunities within trade-based recruitment—whether it's placing mechanics in local workshops or sourcing remote support staff internationally.

You'll be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for a wide variety of roles and locations. This includes everything from in-person interviews and practical skills assessments to designing creative sourcing campaigns and driving candidate engagement strategies across borders.

Key Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring leaders to understand job requirements across automotive, mechanical, trades, and support functions—locally and abroad.


• End-to-End Recruitment (Onshore & Offshore): Manage hiring across domestic and international markets, including tradespeople, technical support teams, and remote admin or customer service staff. Adapt strategies based on local talent pools, cultural considerations, and legal requirements.


• Creative Sourcing Campaigns: Bring a creative mindset to ideate and execute sourcing campaigns—leveraging trade platforms, social media, community outreach, employee referrals, and offshore channels.


• Blue-Collar/Trades Talent Sourcing: Use your industry knowledge and network to attract skilled trades candidates. Understand how to screen for practical, hands-on skills and strong work ethic.


• Candidate Screening & Technical Evaluation: Review resumes, conduct phone/video screenings, and assess cultural and technical fit. Perform in-person interviews and mechanical skill assessments where needed, particularly for technical roles.


• Pipeline & Progress Tracking: Maintain accurate candidate records and hiring metrics across both local and offshore pipelines.


• Team Collaboration: Partner with HR, operations, and hiring managers to deliver results, refine recruitment processes, and improve sourcing outcomes.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:


• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field (preferred)


• Minimum 3+ years of recruitment experience, including experience in automotive, blue-collar, or skilled trades hiring


• Experience in both onshore and offshore recruitment—ideally across trades and support roles


• Demonstrated ability to assess technical and hands-on skills effectively


• A creative and strategic thinker, with experience building unique campaigns to attract hard-to-reach candidates


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and internal stakeholders


• Strong organizational and time management abilities, able to manage multiple roles across regions


• Willingness to travel locally for in-person interviews, assessments, and relationship building
