Yard and Motor Pool Monitor Responsibilities:

· Monitor all vehicles and equipment leaving company premises to ensure they are in good working condition and roadworthy.

· Monitor the storage of lubricants, oils, gasoline, and other flammable items to ensure they are handled safely and that fire hazards are avoided.

· Enforce Guzent Inc.'s "no smoking" policy within the company premises.

· Ensure that all workers in the yard are properly wearing their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during work hours.

· Monitor the yard for cleanliness and occupational safety hazards, taking action to resolve issues as they arise.

· Monitor all equipment, vehicle, and company property for damages.

· Immediately report any damage and initiate an investigation to determine the cause and identify those accountable.

· Monitor the return of damaged items, ensuring they are documented in inventory logs before a replacement is released.

· Inspect returned damaged items to see if they can be repaired or if parts can be recycled for future use before proper disposal.

· Monitor the return of damaged items to the office, ensuring all parts are returned within 24 hours of being dismantled. To give mechanics or electricians who cannot comply with a reasonable timeframe before initiating an administrative investigation.

· Monitor for urgent situations where parts need to be "i-kahoy" from other working units that before any parts are removed, ensure that clearance from management has been obtained and proper documentation is completed.

· Monitor the arrival of procured replacement parts and ensure they are installed immediately to restore the original unit from which parts were salvaged.

· Propose and actively participate in process improvements of the Engineering department.

· Perform other work-related tasks assigned by his superior.
