Business Development Associate — Marketing & Sales Department

Location: MFI Building, Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City (Landmark: The Medical City)

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift); may require fieldwork or travel to partner schools, organizations, and companies

Job Summary

MFI Polytechnic Institute Inc. is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Associate to join our Marketing & Sales Department.

The role is key to expanding MFI's institutional reach by promoting academic and training programs to schools, private organizations, and industry partners — and by building long-term partnerships that support employment-based education and training (EBET) and workforce development initiatives.

This position combines marketing, client relations, and partnership development to strengthen MFI's role as a trusted provider of technical and vocational education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote MFI programs, training services, and scholarships to high schools, colleges, LGUs, and private companies.
  • Develop, maintain, and expand institutional partnerships in support of EBET compliance and corporate training initiatives.
  • Conduct field visits, orientations, and presentations to prospective partners and clients.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials, proposals, and partnership agreements in coordination with the Marketing & Sales Team.
  • Identify new business opportunities and prepare sales or activity reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with Academic and Training units for customized corporate programs or student immersion placements.
  • Represent MFI in education fairs, roadshows, expos, and community events.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to support marketing strategies.

Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or any related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in business development, institutional relations, sales, or client servicing (education or training industry preferred).
  • Strong presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Willingness to conduct fieldwork and client visits within Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

Preferred:

  • Experience in education, corporate training, or NGO development partnerships.
  • Familiarity with TESDA, DepEd, and EBET law (RA compliance requirements.
  • Ability to prepare and negotiate partnership proposals.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and CRM tools.

Working Conditions

  • Based at MFI Ortigas, Pasig Campus under the Marketing & Sales Department.
  • Combination of office work and regular fieldwork (school and company visits).
  • May occasionally require overtime or weekend duty for events or expos.
  • Reports directly to the Marketing & Sales Head.
