The Loans Specialist – Sales (SPL) effectively:

  • Assists the Team Leader – Sales in selling the Pension Loan product of the Bank
  • Drives sales through the engagement of pensioners and resolves to maintain excellent customer experience

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts daily sales engagements with pensioner-prospects through flyering to various offices and locations
  • Secure the opening of pension savings account for prospected clients or leads or transfer of savings account from other Banks
  • Ensure that the newly opened pension deposit account of the new bank member will be converted into loans
  • Gathers market intelligence information in the conduct of sales engagements
  • Assists the Team Leader-Sales in maintaining good relationships with the key officials and influencers of government offices related to pensioners
  • Performs other functions and duties that may be assigned by the Team Leader
  • Provides assistance to the Sales Augmentation Team (SAT)
  • Acts as Loans Processor, whenever the need arises, on account of unforeseen volume of loan transactions in the Store

JOB QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENT :

  • Resident of the AREA or within a 30-minute travel time to the store (branch)
  • Graduate of at least 4-year course preferably business or marketing-related course
  • At least 2 years of work experience in banking or loans institutions
  • With sales background
  • Willing to do field work
  • Good customer service
  • Good communication skills
  • Good prospecting, presentation and negotiation and closing skills
