A Liaison Messenger acts as a bridge between an organization and external entities, like government agencies or other businesses, by delivering documents, securing permits, and facilitating communication. They also handle errands and other administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Delivery:Picking up and delivering documents, packages, and other items to various locations, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
- Liaison Duties:Representing the organization, building relationships, and facilitating communication with external parties.
- Permit and License Processing:Securing necessary permits, licenses, and clearances from government agencies.
- Office Errands:Handling miscellaneous tasks like banking, deliveries, and other administrative duties.
- Communication:Interacting with government officials, business partners, and clients, often requiring strong communication skills.
- Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and other relevant information.
- Problem Solving:Addressing issues and resolving conflicts that arise during the course of the job.
Skills and Qualities:
- Excellent communication skills: Both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people.
- Organization and planning: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Metro Manila and surrounding areas: For efficient delivery and errands.
- Familiarity with government agencies: For processing permits and clearances.
- Adaptability and flexibility: Able to handle unexpected situations and adjust priorities.
- Physical stamina: May involve walking, riding, or driving in various weather conditions.
Other Duties:
- May involve data entry and record keeping.
- May assist with other office tasks as needed.
- May be required to handle cash or valuables.
- May be required to operate company vehicles or equipment.
In essence, the Liaison Messenger role is a multifaceted one, requiring strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a thorough understanding of the local area and government procedures.
