Production Coordinator

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team in Mandaluyong for managing the operations of our custom garments business and subcontractors. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and timely completion of projects, coordinating with various subcons, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations and on time delivery of the orders. Your ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors will be crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the management team to define project goals, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.

Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, milestones, and deliverables.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive measures to ensure timely completion.

Coordinate with subcontractors to allocate resources and track their progress.

Strong Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between the company, subcontractors, and clients.

Communicate project requirements, specifications, and updates to subcontractors, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Collaborate with internal teams, such as design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth project execution.

Conduct regular meetings with sales team to provide project status updates and address any concerns or issues.

Subcontractor Management:

Identify and onboard subcontractors based on project requirements and capabilities.

Negotiate contracts, establish service level agreements (SLAs), and maintain positive working relationships.

Regularly assess subcontractor performance, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with project specifications.

Resolve any conflicts, disputes, or issues that may arise with subcontractors in a timely and professional manner.

Quality Control and Assurance:

Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the final products meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Conduct regular inspections, review samples, and provide feedback to subcontractors to improve quality and consistency.

Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any product or process-related issues promptly.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, contracts, and records of communication.

Prepare regular reports on project status, including milestones achieved, project risks, and budget updates.

Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize project efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a production coordinator, preferably in the custom garments industry or a similar field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with garment production processes and quality control standards is a plus.
• Ability to travel occasionally to subcontractor locations, if required.
