Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proven background in managing production operations. You will be responsible for supervising daily production activities, ensuring quality standards are met, monitoring timelines, and coordinating with different departments to deliver projects such as custom clothing/uniforms and promotional merchandise on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management

• Supervise Daily Production Operations
• Manage day-to-day production activities from cutting, sewing, printing, embroidery, sublimation, to finishing.
• Monitor production lines to ensure output meets quality, quantity, and delivery timelines.
• Create and Update Production Line-Up
• Schedule weekly production line up based on priority and deadlines.
• Supervise Sewing Line Tasks
• Coordinate sewing activities and ensure timely and fair output distribution to sewing team.
• Supervise Sampling Production
• Monitor development and completion of product samples before releasing to clients for approval.
• Supervise Subcon Production
• Monitor the production support coordinator sure to properly communicate with subcons all requests and orders before mass production
• Verify quality and consistency of work from subcontractors before acceptance.

Material & Equipment Management

• Approve Production Material Requests
• Check and approve material issuance based on production line-up and specifications.
• Verify Fabric Shades and Materials
• Double-check material color and quality against approved samples before mass production.
• Monitor Equipment Condition
• Check machinery every Wed & Saturday and coordinate maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Track Material Availability for Upcoming Jobs
• Ensure all materials needed for ongoing and upcoming production are prepared. Coordinate to purchasing department whenever needed.

Quality Control, Accuracy & Compliance

• Conduct In-Line and Final Quality Checks
• Inspect garments during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards, design and quantity.
• Match Proofing with Actual Output
• Double-check final products against approved proofs or samples to ensure accuracy.
• Safety Compliance
• Report any safety or operational hazards for resolution

Communication & Coordination

• Conduct General Production Meetings (Every Monday)
• Lead a general production meeting every Monday to align schedules, new projects and resolve concerns.
• Lead Sales-Production Alignment (Every Saturday)
• Host weekly meetings to align with sales on production priorities, delays, and urgent projects.
• Embroidery Program Accuracy
• Ensure correctness of the embroidery program based on the approved digital proofing and actual approved sample.
• Manpower Support
• Lead and support production staff, including machine operators, printing technicians, and helpers.
• Assist in training new production staff.
• Monitor daily attendance and manpower gaps

Documentation, Reporting & Payroll

• Maintain Daily Production Output Report
• Maintain daily production logs per department and update on output report sheets.
• Report Weekly Production Summary
• Submit weekly reports summarizing production output, issues encountered, and suggestions for efficiency.
• Process Piece-rate payroll
• Track productivity and process accurate payroll of workers under piece-rate schemes.
• Prepare Monthly Production Reports
• Report achievements, production logs, concerns and suggestions to improve our production floor.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in manufacturing/garment/merchandising industry.
• Must be highly organised and have eye for detail
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be a team player and can motivate production workers during challenging times.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be computer literate
• Must be willing to work at Mandaluyong City
