Job Summary:

The Senior Onboarding Specialist is responsible for ensuring a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new hires. This role manages the end-to-end onboarding process, coordinates with cross-functional teams, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance employee integration and retention. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, BPO experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional candidate experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding Coordination:

  • Manage the full onboarding lifecycle from pre-boarding to Day 1 and post-onboarding follow-ups.

  • Ensure timely completion of pre-employment requirements, background checks, and documentation.
  • Schedule and facilitate orientation sessions and onboarding activities

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, IT, Facilities, and Hiring Managers to ensure readiness for new hires.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for new employees during the onboarding process.

  • Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements in onboarding workflows, tools, and communication.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and data privacy regulations.

  • Candidate Experience:

  • Deliver a high-touch, personalized onboarding experience that reflects company culture and values.

  • Monitor onboarding satisfaction through surveys and feedback loops.

  • Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate onboarding records and trackers.

  • Generate reports on onboarding metrics, trends, and completion rates.

  • Project Management:

  • Lead or support onboarding-related projects such as system implementations, process automation, or onboarding for ramp-ups.

  • Ensure timely execution of project deliverables and stakeholder alignment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in onboarding or HR operations, preferably in a BPO or shared services environment.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, onboarding platforms, and Microsoft Office tools.
