Electrical Designer

Work Set-Up:Onsite onboarding for 2–4 weeks, followed by a transition to a work-from-home setup.

Work Schedule:Night Shift (Following U.S Eastern Time Zone)

Salary Package:55,000 PHP to 85,000 PHP/Monthly

Job Summary:We are hiring an electrical engineer to design and implement complex electrical systems for natural gas utility facilities. This is a fast paced, dynamic position that will require working both independently and as a member of a team of professionals moving projects from concept through construction phases. The engineer is responsible for planning and preparing engineering and designs to meet our customers project objectives for a variety of types of projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and/or improving electrical systems for existing or new facilities, components and/or equipment.
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
• Develop electric power one line, distribution panel schedule, UPS panel schedule, lighting, I/O loop design, AC/DC circuits, emergency power configuration, communications, hazardous area analysis, grounding design, etc.
• Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects.
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements.
• Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
• Supervising or training project team members.
• Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field. (Preferably licensed)
• At least 5 years+ of experience related to Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
• Significant hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Office programs, and calculation software.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors and other staff.
• Attention to detail with a desire for excellence
• Experience working with international clients is a plus.
• Experience in Natural Gas is a plus.
