Electrical Engineer

We require a qualified Electrical Engineer to provide expert analysis and design input on our bid proposals. This role involves assessing the structural viability of our products within various building projects. A strong understanding of façade design principals is a distinct advantage. This role reports to the Bid Team Manager and will work closely with the COO, Head of R&D and lead architect on other business interests. Therefore, this role offers the successful application the opportunity to contribute to the design and deployment application of our products, to propel the BIPV industry forward.

Key Responsibilities:

o Perform electrical analysis for all proposed projects.

o Provide electrical advice for product design.

o Provide expert technical support for bid documents.

o Collaborate with key technical leads, including but not limited to the COO, Head of R&D and lead Architect, to actualise our clients vision effective thought the application of our product.

Language requirements:

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills in English.

Qualifications:

Structural engineering, proficiency in electrical engineering is highly desirable.

Technical skills:

Exemplary technical knowledge of electrical systems, proficient in reading drawings, specifications, RFP's, RFQ's, etc. Knowledge of solar electrical components. Ability to complete SLDs and other electrical documentation. Competent in using Microsoft applications and other software platform.

Remuneration:

Subject to experience and in line with local market level.
