Join our engineering team supporting clients across Australia on diverse projects — residential, commercial, EV charging systems, smart home installations, and public infrastructure.

This remote, Philippines-based role involves designing safe, reliable, and compliant electrical systems and preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates in collaboration with Australian engineers and project managers.

What You'll Do

  • Design safe, compliant, and reliable electrical systems tailored to client needs.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontracted works.
  • Review and analyse architectural and electrical drawings for precise quantity take-offs.
  • Conduct design reviews, build audits, and validation checks to ensure performance, safety, and compliance.
  • Manage First-Off Tool (FOT) projects from concept to completion, meeting safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee product testing, prototyping, and process optimisation for continuous improvement.
  • Support HSEQ documentation and ensure compliance with Australian standards and codes.
  • Stay updated with the latest Australian electrical standards, codes, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to validate pricing and technical feasibility.
  • Identify risks, value-engineering options, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support post-tender activities, including variations, pricing adjustments, and cost reconciliations.
  • Maintain and update cost databases, pricing templates, and estimation tools for ongoing accuracy.

What We're Looking For

  • Licensed Electrical Engineer or trade-qualified professional with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience working on Australian electrical projects or with Australian clients.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in electrical engineering and estimating.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and codes.
  • Proven experience with switchboards, EV chargers, smart wiring, lighting, generators, and data/communication networks.
  • Proficient in estimating software (SimPRO, CostX) and Excel for take-offs and costing.
  • Excellent technical writing, documentation, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail.
  • Philippines-based, available full-time, Mon–Fri, 6 AM – 3 PM PHT.
