Collections Assistant

A Collection Assistant helps companies collect payments by contacting clients about overdue accounts, processing payments, updating financial records, and performing administrative tasks related to accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payment Follow-ups - Contacting clients to remind them of past-due obligations and collect payments.
- Record Keeping - Maintaining accurate financial records, including posting collections and preparing statements of accounts.
- Client Interaction - Addressing client queries, developing repayment plans, and building a connection between the company and its customers.
- Administrative Tasks - Performing various office and administrative duties to ensure efficiency in the collections department.
- Financial Analysis - Analyzing aging reports, monitoring credit worthiness, and assisting with financial reporting.
- Internal Controls - Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures.
