We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst – Sales Assistant to support our Sales and FP&A teams. This role focuses on maintaining CRM data integrity, building and updating sales dashboards, and analyzing pipeline metrics like conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and lifetime value (LTV).

The right candidate will be highly organized and collaborative, skilled in Excel and data visualization tools, and experienced in territory reporting, win/loss analysis, and budget tracking. They should be comfortable translating complex data into clear, actionable insights to guide sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Daily

  • Maintain accurate and consistent CRM data; update systems daily and proactively monitor margins.
  • Track leads, conversions, AOV, and LTV to provide real-time pipeline insights.
  • Share inventory updates, including back-in-stock alerts for high-demand products.
  • Keep sales dashboards current with trends and forecasts.

Weekly

  • Assign inbound leads to reps in NetSuite.
  • Upload welcome gift data (NEO/ANA).
  • Correlate sales activities (calls, demos, meetings) with performance.
  • Prepare and present weekly data insights for team strategy meetings.
  • Track and improve sales incentives.
  • Define targets for lapsed, new proprietary, and new customers by rep and region.
  • Prepare weekly slide decks (WAL/Distribution/Body Jewelry).

Monthly

  • Perform win/loss reviews to identify opportunities and training needs.
  • Upload "We Miss You" gift data (NEO/ANA/TIL).
  • Report on territories for potential blitz marketing efforts.
  • Track budgets, analyze sales vs. spending, and evaluate ROI of promotions.
  • Conduct customer profiling and segmentation, flagging at-risk accounts.
  • Monitor margins by sales rep, product line, and territory.
  • Summarize monthly performance by team and category.

Quarterly

  • Conduct trend analyses on sales performance by rep, region, and product line.
  • Refresh customer segmentation strategies.
  • Calculate commissions.

Ad-Hoc

  • Deliver data-driven insights for strategic requests as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years in data analysis, sales support, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
  • Strong experience in sales data tracking and reporting.
  • Familiarity with dashboards and performance metrics (AOV, LTV, margin, win/loss).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator with strong collaboration abilities.
  • Comfortable preparing reports and presentations on a weekly/monthly basis.
