About the role

As a Quality Engineer at Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes and products. This full-time position is based in Calamba City Laguna, where you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust quality control systems to meet the highest industry standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and testing methods to identify and address quality issues
  • Work closely with Failure Analysis (FA) and Reliability teams to investigate and resolve ORT failures.
  • Initiate and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) based on ORT findings.
  • Apply root cause analysis tools (8D, FMEA) to address reliability issues.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze ORT data to identify trends, anomalies, and early signs of product reliability risks.
  • Prepare and present ORT performance reports, highlighting test results, deviations, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all ORT activities for traceability and audit purposes.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office and statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
