□ Job Position: * QAQC (Electric) Officer Mid Senior & Associate level

• Provide guidance to the QAQC team, ensuring all members understand their roles and responsibilities.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote a culture of quality excellence.

• Develop and implement quality management plans, policies, and procedures.

• Evaluate and select suppliers and sub-contractors based on their quality and performance track record.

• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with suppliers and sub-contractors to address quality-related issues.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Participate in the tender process by reviewing contractor proposals and assessing their ability to meet quality requirements.

• Develop comprehensive quality criteria for evaluation and selection of contractors.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of quality expectations.

• Develop and implement the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) plan for the construction.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Establish and maintain effective QAQC processes and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate and perform inspections and tests to verify compliance with quality standards.

• Review design drawings, specifications, and technical documents to identify and resolve potential quality issues.

• Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality objectives are met.

• Monitor construction activities to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective actions.

• Conduct regular audits and assessments to assess and improve project quality performance.

• Track and report quality indicators and metrics to project leadership and stakeholders.

• Manage non-conformance and deviation processes, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.

• Collaborate with relevant parties to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution.

• Provide guidance and support to project teams on QAQC matters, promoting a strong quality culture.

• Liaise with regulatory authorities and clients on quality-related matters

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with the client, ensuring open communication and addressing any quality concerns.

• Provide regular updates to the client on the progress of quality assurance activities.

• Manage client expectations regarding quality standards and delivery timelines

• Recruit, train, and mentor the QAQC team members.

• Ensure effective resource allocation and workload distribution within the team.

• Implement performance management processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Identify areas for improvement in quality control and quality assurance processes.

• Research and implement innovative technologies and techniques to enhance quality management.

• Proactively identify and address potential risks that may impact project quality.

□ Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in
Electric
engineering or a related field.

• Quality management certification (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).

• Project management certification (e.g., PMP).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control/assurance roles in the construction industry.

• Experience in managing quality aspects of large-scale renewable construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
