Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Visually check the unit when driver/operator complain for trouble and request for unit checkup.
  2. Assign the job order to subordinate and discuss the actions to be taken for the repair of the unit.
  3. Monitor and check the progress of the mechanic's job order.  Ensure that all equipment are top priority and be repaired on time.
  4. Ensure that all operating equipment/units are maintain and in running condition.
  5. Ensure that all equipment are registered and renewal of registration are taken care of, make sure that every equipment have ready stencilled chassis engine number.
  6. Prepares weekly equipment summary report.
  7. Coordinate with purchasing all equipment parts and materials that are requested should be delivered on time and follow-up pending requisitions.
  8. Ensure that equipment logbook for equipment parts/activities status are updated
  9. Replacement of spare parts
  10. Movements of spare parts
  11. How often change of oil
  12. Overhauling of equipment
  13. Ensure that requisitions are properly fill-up by correct specifications, delivery date are specified, and completely signed by authorised
