QAQC Engineer

Job Summary:

The QAQC Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure that products or services meet the required standards and specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, analyzing data, and working closely with other departments to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. The QAQC Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance and Control:

· Implement QAQC procedures, standards, and protocols to ensure that products or services meet quality requirements.

· Conduct inspections and testing of materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.

· Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.

· Collaborate with site operations and other departments to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

2. Process Improvement:

· Lead initiatives to enhance quality processes and practices for improve throughout the organization.

· Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to resolve site quality-related issues and prevent recurrence.

· Review and update quality control procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

3. Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, inspections, and test results.

· Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, performance, and improvement initiatives to management.

· Ensure that all quality documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible.

4. Compliance and Safety:

· Ensure that all QAQC activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

· Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures related to quality control processes.

· Stay current with industry regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

5. Vendor and Supplier Quality:

· Monitor and evaluate the quality performance of vendors and suppliers, ensuring that their products or services meet quality standards.

· Work with procurement and supply chain teams to address quality issues related to incoming materials or components.

6. Training and Support:

· Provide training and support to team members and other departments on quality assurance and control procedures through PATOQ.

· Assist in developing and delivering training programs to enhance quality awareness and skills across the organization.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture

· With at least 2-3 years' experience in a QAQC engineering role or a similar position.

· Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, quality control processes, and regulatory requirements.

· Experience with inspection tools, testing equipment, and quality management software.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
