We're looking for an Account Director for an e-sports events organizing company.

The Account Director (AD) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the agency's client portfolio, ensuring exceptional service delivery, account profitability, and long-term client partnerships. Acting as the strategic partner to key clients, the AD drives innovation, fosters high-level relationships, and ensures the agency consistently delivers business value and creative excellence.

Internally, the AD leads, mentors, and empowers the Account Management team --comprising Senior Account Managers and Account Managers -- to achieve performance goals, uphold best practices, and execute client engagements with excellence. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, operational oversight, and client advocacy to strengthen the agency's market position and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Client Leadership

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for top-tier clients, cultivating strong executive-level relationships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic counsel on brand activations, event production, esports partnerships, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Lead annual and quarterly business reviews with clients, ensuring alignment on goals, KPIs, and long-term partnership value.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively propose innovative solutions that drive business outcomes.

2. Business Growth & Account Profitability

  • Oversee account portfolio performance, ensuring revenue targets, client satisfaction, and profitability are achieved.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to expand existing accounts and explore new service opportunities.
  • Identify growth opportunities within client businesses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design tailored solutions.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, budget management, and reporting for all accounts under their supervision.

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire Senior Account Managers and Account Managers, fostering a high-performance, client-centric culture.
  • Provide strategic direction, guidance, and oversight to ensure consistent quality in client servicing and project execution.
  • Drive team capability-building through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives.
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct reviews, and create succession plans to strengthen the account management function.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with creative, production, strategy, and finance teams to ensure cohesive, end-to-end client solutions.
  • Champion integration across agency disciplines to maximize impact and efficiency in client deliverables.
  • Act as the bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment on objectives and priorities.

5. Thought Leadership & Market Influence

  • Represent the agency at industry conferences, forums, and networking events to enhance visibility and credibility.
  • Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and esports/gaming industry shifts to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Share insights with clients and internal teams to maintain a forward-thinking, innovative approach to account management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in account management, client servicing, or related roles, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale client portfolios and building long-term executive-level relationships.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing multi-level account teams.
  • Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in esports, gaming, events, marketing, or creative agencies strongly preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • Onsite reporting
  • Monday to Friday, following a compressed workweek setup.
  • Employees may start as early as 7:00AM to 5:00PM; or as late as 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Salary Package:

  • Basic Salary
  • HMO
  • Leave Credits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php70,000.00 per month
