Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science/Chemistry, Food Technology, or any related field
  • At least 10 years experience in food manufacturing and R&D in a supervisory or leadership role
  • At least 10 years experience in F&B
  • At least 5 years experience in Baking related product development
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • With experience in handling people
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, food regulatory guidelines, and sensory / analytical testing is preferred
  • Strong in analytical and technical reporting skills
  • Knowledgeable in GMP , HACCP and other food safety standards is a plus
  • Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times

Job Descriptions:

  • Responsible for project management of new product development and new process development
  • Provide technical assistance collaboration for any field study at production whenever required
  • Develop technical ability of R&D personnel through mentoring, coaching, feedback and personal development plans
  • Keep abreast to the latest technology in ingredient science and application, health and nutrition, products and regulatory trends in bakery industry
  • Lead the creation and development of new products from concept to launch
  • Innovate and improve existing products to enhance quality , taste and shelf life
  • Develop and test new recipes, ensuring they meet company standards and customer expectations
  • Adjust formulations to optimize production processes and reduce costs
  • Ensure all new and existing products comply with health , safety and regulatory standards
  • Conduct regular product testing and quality assessments
  • Analyze competitor products and industry developments to stay ahead in the market
  • Work closely with production, marketing , and sales team to ensure successful product launches
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff on new product processes
  • Maintain detailed records of product development processes, formulations, and test result
  • Prepare and present reports on R&D activities, progress and outcomes to Top Management
