Job Summary

Our firm values precision, collaboration, and professionalism. As part of our team, you'll work closely with audit leaders and audit specialists.

We are a US-based audit firm owned and managed by former big four professionals, seeking a detail-oriented Quality Compliance Specialist to strengthen our audit and review practice. This role is responsible for ensuring that engagement files, client deliverables, and internal documentation comply with professional standards and firm policies. You will work closely with partners and engagement teams to monitor compliance, review engagement quality, and support continuous improvement of our quality management system.

Core Responsibilities

· Review engagement documentation for compliance with professional standards (AICPA, SSARS).

· Perform quality checks on financial statements and audit reports for alignment with firm policies.

· Assist in implementing and maintaining the firm's system of quality management (SQM).

· Monitor adherence to independence, ethics, and documentation requirements.

· Support pre-issuance and post-issuance quality reviews of audit and review engagements.

Other Responsibilities

· Assist in developing and maintaining firm audit/review methodology templates and checklists.

· Provide training and guidance to engagement teams on compliance matters.

· Track and report on quality control findings and recurring issues.

· Support internal/external inspection readiness (e.g., AICPA peer review).

What Will Make You Stand Out

· Prior experience in audit quality review, compliance, or technical accounting support.

· Familiarity with AICPA professional standards, or Crowdfunding regulations.

· Experience in internal monitoring, peer review, or inspection processes.

· Ability to spot documentation gaps and recommend improvements.

· Background in Big 4, mid-tier firms, or internal quality monitoring teams.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· CPA/ ACCA or similar certification is a must (non-negotiable).

· 3+ years of experience in audit, assurance, or quality review.

· Strong knowledge of auditing standards, review engagements, and financial reporting.

· Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
