Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring food safety, regulatory compliance, and product quality across all operational sites. This role oversees the implementation of HACCP, GMP, and quality control programs while providing technical support for product development and driving continuous improvement in sanitation, audits, and internal control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Safety & Compliance

  • Manage Food Safety Management Programs including HACCP and GMP.

  • Serve as the designated Food Safety Compliance Officer, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Oversee FDA LTO, COR applications, and coordination with government regulatory agencies.

  • Quality Assurance Program Oversight

  • Implement and monitor traceability systems, internal control measures, and product recall protocols.

  • Lead food safety and quality audits for all Yi Fang stores to ensure operational excellence.
  • Develop inspection and testing protocols for raw materials, products, and packaging.

  • Sanitation & SOP Development

  • Design and implement sanitation operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with regulatory requirements.

  • Establish SOPs and conditions for handling, storage, and preservation of product samples.

  • Warehouse & Complaint Resolution

  • Oversee warehouse quality control processes.

  • Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to resolve quality-related complaints through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) reports.

  • Technical Support & R&D Collaboration

  • Provide technical expertise for new and existing products and raw materials.

  • Assist Research & Development in evaluating quality attributes and compliance risks.

Additional Duties

  • Maintain records and documentation relevant to inspections, audits, and regulatory submissions.
  • Continuously improve protocols to align with industry guidelines and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Carry out related tasks as deemed appropriate by the company to support quality initiatives.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within the Food and Beverage industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and training skills; able to coach and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in documentation, reporting, and basic quality control systems
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and operational procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report generation
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality objectives
