Makati City, National Capital Region, Philippines Gentem Consulting Services Full time ₱1,200,000 - ₱2,400,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and monitor compliance of the company to various regulatory bodies of the government.
  • To liaise with Philippine Government offices such as DMW, MWO, DOLE, NLRC, OWWA, etc. as and when required.
  • To handle all legal issues/cases of the company which includes attending hearings, conciliation/mediation, etc.
  • Act on issues that involve clients/hired workers and/or concerns within the organization.
  • Resolve employees' issues and handling complaints to protect the general interests and update management of the outcome.
  • Reviews contracts/agreements to ensure they adhere to all necessary regulations.
  • Work closely with Management or external lawyers in reviewing contracts to ascertain that commercial, technical and other related non-legal terms are properly reviewed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/College degree graduate, preferably specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of the DMW rules and regulations and Labor Law code
  • Proactive and detail oriented.
  • Background in overseas recruitment agency is preferred but not required.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Makati City.
