We're looking for an experienced Head of Operations with a passion for growth, structure, and scale. You'll be working closely alongside another senior operations manager who brings experience in scaling and expansion — this is a joint leadership role focused on driving performance, improving systems, and growing the brand nationwide over the next 3 years.

We need someone with grit, drive, and initiative. Someone who isn't afraid of hard work, who thrives in building something great from the ground up, and who's ready to step into a leadership role that mixes strategy with execution.

Experience in identifying and selecting high-potential areas for new branches will be highly valuable. Candidates who have overseen multi-location expansion, handled site selection, and understand location-based strategy will have an edge.

What You'll Do:

Streamline & Strengthen Operations

  • Audit current processes and introduce improvements in student handling, instructor scheduling, and back-office operations
  • Develop SOPs and manuals that support replication across multiple branches
  • Implement systems that ensure consistency, quality, and accountability across the organization

Nationwide Growth & Rollout

  • Lead expansion planning and execution for new sites — logistics, staffing, permits, and setup
  • Work with the co-ops manager to map out a 3-year roadmap for national scale
  • Ensure each new branch reflects the brand's standards and service excellence

People & Culture Leadership

  • Train and oversee teams across multiple locations
  • Introduce performance tracking systems and staff development processes
  • Help build a company culture rooted in professionalism, pride, and continuous improvement

Strategic Execution

  • Work hand-in-hand with the owner and the co-operations manager
  • Support key decisions around pricing, marketing, partnerships, and market entry
  • Help introduce tech platforms for bookings, CRM, or LMS if needed

What We're Looking For:

Key Essential Experience (must-have):

  • Experience managing multi-branch operations across different locations
  • Proven track record in opening new branches, including site selection, setup, and launch planning
  • Strong understanding of location-based strategy (e.g., traffic flow, community presence, competition mapping)
  • Familiarity with permits, compliance, and local government processes for business expansion
  • Ability to develop and implement systems that scale, such as SOPs, training modules, and performance tracking tools
  • Experience collaborating with or reporting directly to ownership or executive teams during expansion
  • 5+ years in operations leadership within a franchise, multi-site service business, or training/education-related company (experience in a driving school is a plus but not essential)
  • Proven experience scaling operations or opening multiple branches
  • Demonstrated ability to identify strong expansion locations and lead the opening process
  • Hands-on and proactive — not afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Familiar with process creation, KPIs, and quality control
  • Experience working with government permits or education standards (LTO familiarity is a plus)
