IT Specialist

Responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and networks. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring data security, providing technical support to staff, and assisting in the implementation of new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, email, and security settings.
• Ensure data backup, recovery, and security protocols are properly implemented.
• Perform regular updates, system upgrades, and patch management.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to employees.
• Maintain IT documentation including network configurations, asset inventories, and software licenses.
• Coordinate with vendors or service providers for IT-related procurement or maintenance.
• Support in implementing cybersecurity policies and data protection measures.
• Assist in developing and enforcing IT policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Support, IT Specialist, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and office software.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, and VPN setup.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
