Core responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and receivable: Processing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Data entry and record keeping: Accurately recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and updating financial records.
- Financial reporting: Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
- Reconciliation: Reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Payroll support: Assisting with the processing of part-time employee payroll.
- Training will be provided for payroll processing procedures and systems.
- Administrative support: Handling general administrative tasks within the accounting department, such as filing and organizing documents.
- Adhoc: Performs all other tasks assigned by immediate superior.
- This is an entry level accounting assistant position.
Minimum qualifications and desired skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
Proven at least 3 years of experience in Finance and Accounting
Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience required
Possesses results-driven approach and a keen eye for detail
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organisational and computer skills
High proficiency in MS Office
Database management – Data Entry, Reconciliation of Accounts
Strong work ethics
Time Management skills
