Placement Officer (Industry Partnerships & Student Employability)

Department: Marketing & Sales

Location: MFI Building, Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City (Landmark: The Medical City)

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift); occasional field visits to partner companies

MFI Polytechnic Institute Inc. is looking for a driven Placement Officer to strengthen our industry partnerships and ensure graduates are not only trained—but employed and thriving in their chosen fields.

You'll take the lead in developing company relationships, placement pipelines, and OJT linkages that connect classroom learning with real-world employment.

Your work directly supports MFI's mission under the Employment-Based Education and Training (EBET) law—building pathways from school to workplace.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain active partnerships with companies, HR networks, and industry associations for student OJT and job placement.
  • Coordinate with employers to identify vacancies, trainee slots, and hiring opportunities for MFI graduates.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor deployed students and maintain positive employer relations.
  • Prepare and manage MOAs, placement forms, and compliance documentation for EBET and institutional audits.
  • Organize and represent MFI at career fairs, job expos, and industry forums.
  • Work closely with Academic Units to align training outcomes with employer requirements.
  • Maintain an updated placement database with student profiles, partner details, and employment outcomes.
  • Provide insights on labor market trends and partner feedback to improve programs.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in placement coordination, corporate partnerships, or HR recruitment.
  • Proven ability to connect with companies and HR decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willing to travel for field visits and student monitoring.
  • Experience or network in the Marine, Manufacturing, or Technical-Vocational industries is a strong advantage.
