POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Operations Specialist will report to the Operations Supervisor and work alongside managers within the Operations Department to support the strategic growth and development of the department. The person in this role will continually drive efficiencies and operational improvements through the credit and underwriting process. This person will also be responsible for creating and deploying a development program for all the teams within the Operations department.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Phone Verification

  • Making phone verification efforts via outbound calls, data checking, credit information checking in compliance with company policy and you experience. Perform data evaluation from apps, request extra information from customer (when applicable)
  • Focus on a main KPI in Underwriting such as time to money and % of fraud applications
  • Participate in testing of new approaches in underwriting
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Ensure that processes and procedures are well documented and being executed upon
  • Provide feedback to Head of Operations on bottlenecks, suggest potential improvements
  • Achieve phone verification efficiency by increasing the completion rate made in a day.
