A Logistics Team Leader II provides for the warehousing and distribution of the company's products in accordance with customer requirements as assessed by the sales divisions, meets pre-set company objectives and conditions with regards to service levels, cost and quality, and assures the use of existing systems in a proper way. He/she proposes and implements corrections and improvements to the existing systems, manages the offsite 3PL warehouses, and plans and schedule the distribution of the company's products from the plant to the customers and off-site 3PL warehouses. The incumbent maintains the cost of the distribution service at the lowest possible level at the established lead-time.

· Achieve the target Customer Service Level, and other Key Performance Indexes for the year.

· Supervise the Warehouse man and Distribution Clerk

· Lead in the conduction of semi-annual & annual physical inventory for finished goods and Kay products. Coordinate with accounting for the immediate reconciliation of any variances between the actual count and the booked amount.

· Schedule a suitable time of the day to conduct the monthly cycle count in coordination with Accounting on what items should be counted. Submit result a day after the count.

· Study, propose, and implement any changes as approved in the procedures and means of operations (racks, forklift, pallet trucks, personnel, etc.) so as to ensure a smooth and efficient operation at the same time preserving the quality of the stored products.

· Arrange the transfer of goods to off-site warehouses through the use of the Inventory Status Worksheet ensuring that the agreed stocking level is maintained.

· Select as well as evaluate the performance of the carriers/truckers delivering the goods to the customers, respecting the overall objective of customer service and cost.

· Help in the preparation of the annual warehouse and distribution budget. Take an active part in all types of audits both internal and external

· Prepare daily Back Order Memo (BOM)

· Prepare the monthly warehouse and distribution report.

· Submit on a timely manner warehouse/delivery payment schedules to Accounting
