ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our dynamic Global Information Security (GIS) Operations team as a Continuous Improvement Engineer focused on Network Security. In this role, you will lead initiatives to enhance our security operations, drive process optimization, and strengthen our network security posture. You'll collaborate across teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement best practices, and ensure our security infrastructure evolves to meet emerging threats and business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives across GIS operations, focusing on network security processes and technologies.
  • Security Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement security enhancements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
  • Incident Monitoring: Monitor and analyze security incidents to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to staff on security best practices and improvements.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for security processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the effective delivery of top-notch security services
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on security performance and improvement initiatives.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • 4+ years' work experience in information security or network security, with a strong focus on process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Must be eligible to work in the Philippines
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and support.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently within a team setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for conveying complex security concepts and improvements
  • Ability to effectively manage external vendors to maximize the value and performance of product security tools
  • Skilled in conducting research and leveraging existing knowledge to resolve security-related inquiries and issues
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are a plus
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Permanent, full-time employment
  • Onsite work setup (M-F) for 3 months; 1 day remote per week after 3 months (4x office + 1 day remote/week)
  • Dayshift or midshift (flexible working hours); flexible to work in EMEA and US time zone if necessary
  • This role is not eligible for relocation
