The Restaurant System Officer is responsible for overseeing the operational systems and processes within the restaurant to ensure efficiency, compliance, and quality service. This role involves managing inventory, monitoring systems, and collaborating with staff to optimize the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management:
     Oversee and maintain restaurant management systems, including POS, inventory management, and scheduling software.
  • Training and Support:
     Provide training and support to staff on operational systems, ensuring all employees are knowledgeable and efficient in their use.
  • Inventory Control:
     Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
  • Data Analysis:
     Analyze operational data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance customer service. Prepare reports for management review.
  • Compliance and Standards:
     Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshooting:
     Address any system-related issues promptly, collaborating with IT support when necessary.
  • Collaboration:
     Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
  • Customer Feedback:
     Gather and analyze customer feedback to implement improvements in service and operational processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably in a systems or operational role.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant management software and technology.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
