COMPANY BACKGROUND

Rublin Hotel Cebu is a business and leisure hotel located right in the center of Cebu City, boasting 30 guest rooms. Our team stands by excellent service and genuine hospitality. A sense of community is a must among hotel staff members.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • a college graduate or have attained a Bachelor's degree preferably in HRM or Tourism

  • At least 1 year work experience at a hotel and preferably in the Hospitality/Tourism-related industries.

-Must have good communication and comprehensive skills in English, Tagalog, Cebuano- Must be computer literate, able to prioritize and multitask efficiently

-Must be detail-oriented, neat, and organized

-Must have a pleasing appearance coupled with pleasing personality and great customer service

-Must be willing to work any day from Monday to Sunday, rotating shifts among morning, mid, and graveyard shifts

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Front Office System

  2. Guest Keycards (empty and issued) , Housekeeping Master Keycards, Master Keys of doors.

  3. Front Office equipment such as money detectors, computers and its parts & accessories,

  4. Ground Floor, Lobby, and Front Desk Area

  5. Guest relations & satisfaction upon arrival and departure of guests6. Fire Detection and Alarm System control panel

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

HOTEL RECEPTION

  1. Welcome guests using the Rublin Hotel greeting standard and add a personalization

  2. Greet returnees, regulars, VIPs, VVIPs by name

  3. Answer, screen, and forwards incoming phone calls

  4. Ensure lobby and front desk is clean, organized, and disinfected after every guest

  5. Receive, sort, safekeep, and distribute daily mails/packages

  6. Provide assistance to room accommodation queries or check ins

  7. Review arrivals, in house guests, and departing guests list

  8. Follow hotel guest check-in and check-out procedures

  9. Screen and record visitors.

  10. Perform clerical duties as requested and necessary.

GUEST RELATIONS

  1. Anticipate the arrival of regulars and corporate clients

  2. Understand guest complaints and concerns

  3. Follow procedures in handling guest complaints and concerns promptly

  4. Offer hotel services that meet guest requirements

  5. Provide ease and comfort of transactions during their stay

  6. Accommodate regulars on arrivals and departures

  7. Always present a ready-to-help attitude

  8. Always maintain eye contact while the guest speaks to you

  9. Greet guests according to how they receive respect (bow, smile, or friendly acknowledgements)

  10. Ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure

CASHIERING

  1. Issue receipts and vouchers correctly and honestly

  2. Handle payment for hotel room accommodation and other services

  3. Follow the Settlements procedures in the Guest Stay Process

  4. Maintain honesty and integrity in handling payments

  5. Conduct proper Cashing Out procedures at the end of the shift

  6. Report sale of rooms and other hotel services

  7. Vigilant in modus related to theft and robbery

  8. Handling cash and cards with attentiveness and carefulness

  9. Follow the procedures in detecting counterfeit money, and fake/stolen debit/credit cards

CONCIERGE

  1. Receive, safe keep, and release luggage, SDB items, and messages for the convenience of the guest

  2. Upsell ancillary products and services offered by the hotel

  3. Assist guests on transport, local attractions, tourist sites, and other queries

  4. Provide information about local features in different aspects of their vacation or business trip (i.e., shopping, dining, night-outs, relaxations, adventures, or other destinations)

  5. Make inquiries and reservations on their chosen activities

  6. Assist with events or meetings of the corporate clients, as needed

RESERVATIONS

  1. Answer room accommodation inquiries and other guest concerns according to the hotel house rules and policies

  2. Upsell other hotel services and facilities

  3. Receives and assists in phone reservations

  4. Receives OTA bookings through email and reserves in the Front Office system

  5. Receives Website bookings, generates Booking Confirmations, and email to guest.

OTHER

  1. Carry out any extra work assigned by Immediate Superior/Hotel Manager, related but not limited to hotel operations.

  2. Suggests initiative to improve front office procedures and techniques to reach company goals and further company growth.
