Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventory and Logistics (80%):

  • Receives items and ensures accuracy of placed Purchase Orders (POs);
  • Monitor and document the daily in/out of inventory items, ensure that all inventory movements are recorded and safeguarded physically, in Netsuite and Excel;
  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs; Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus;
  • Create and maintain detailed and real-time inventory reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments;
  • Keep the stockroom and warehouse organized – put proper labels and arrangement of all stock items;
  • Prepare, coordinate and oversee schedule of deliveries/release of items to clients and CSI project team, ensure completeness and accuracy of packaged orders before release;
  • Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments by working with transport providers, warehouse teams, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate logistics documentation and optimize delivery routes and schedules to reduce transportation costs.
  • Handle importation processes, including coordination with suppliers, brokers, and government agencies to ensure timely customs clearance and compliance with import regulations. .

Procurement (20%):

  • Provide support to procurement needs of the Logistics Unit.
  • Coordinate closely with Enginering, Sales and Administration Departments on purchasing requirements, i.e. Purchase Requests (PR).
  • Assist in researching potential vendors and communicate/negotiate with suppliers to determine product availability and best price offer;
  • Prepare, confirm, and generate Purchase Orders (PO) through NetSuite;
  • Place orders and accomplish target delivery dates;
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm or change orders, as needed.
  • Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
  • Conduct market research to identify pricing trends;
  • Manage any procurement activities such as track the status of any orders, review deliveries, deal with any conditions against the orders (under order, over order, damaged, non-supplied);

Qualification:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering or any related courses.
  • Preferably with 2-3 years related experience in Logistics, and Inventory Management. Procurement background is an advantage, but not required.
  • Strong negotiation skills and keen attention to details
  • Solid organizational skills
