Summary

The main responsibility of the Master Data Analyst is to assist the Enterprise Master Data Management (EMDM) organization and key stakeholders with the creation, reading, updating, and deleting (CRUD) of master data throughout the enterprise. The analyst will serve as a resource to provide reports and ad hoc reporting to various stakeholders on customer, vendor, price, and material information. The analyst is also expected to respond in a timely and effective manner to stakeholders' inquiries and concerns, participate in process improvements, ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Metrics, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, and support other management directives as prescribed.

Summary of Major Duties:

  • Perform CRUD responsibilities on master data domains under guidance from a Specialist or Supervisor, including mandatory validations such as critical data controls and compliance verification.
  • Ensure that set KPIs, Metrics, and SLAs are met and reported timely.
  • Support internal, external, and Sarbanes-Oxley audits by providing relevant requirements and documentation for master data transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable global and regional policies and standards.
  • Understand the implications of master data in SAP and other business systems, troubleshoot minor escalated issues, and gather/document business requirements for master data initiatives.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and industry experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in IS, accounting, or business environments.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in core SAP modules and transactions, including Customer, Pricing, Material, and Vendor Maintenance.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, relationship management, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of related transactions, policies, guidelines, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willing to work in shift schedules, including night shifts.
