Strong experience with IBM Mainframe (z/OS, z/VM, CICS, DB2, IMS, VSAM) environments.

Knowledge of batch job scheduling and monitoring using tools like CA-7, Control-M, Autosys, or Tivoli Workload Scheduler.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, job failures, and system alerts

Experience in performance monitoring, tuning, and resource optimization for mainframe workloads.

Understanding of TECON workflows and integrations for mainframe job orchestration.

Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts for mainframe-related provisioning or hybrid infrastructure.

Ability to integrate batch job workflows with orchestration tools (Control-M, AutoSys, or enterprise orchestration platforms).

Experience with automating deployment of mainframe workloads in coordination with middleware, storage, and network components.

Knowledge of end-to-end orchestration pipelines for mainframe and non-mainframe resources.

Experience with virtualized test environments supporting mainframe or hybrid workloads.

Familiarity with z/VM, Linux on Z, or mainframe emulator environments for test and QA.

Ability to manage snapshots, cloning, and rollback of virtualized test environments.

Ensure integration of test environments with automated orchestration workflows.

Implement security controls on mainframe workloads (user access, RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret).

Enforce role-based access control (RBAC) and privileged access policies.

Conduct vulnerability assessments, configuration checks, and patch management aligned with organizational IT security policies.

Ensure secure batch job scheduling and orchestration to prevent unauthorized access or data exposure.

Monitor and report batch job performance, system availability, and capacity metrics.

Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams for end-to-end provisioning and orchestration.

Exposure to mainframe DevOps integration with CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of containerized mainframe workloads or hybrid orchestration frameworks.

Experience with multi-tenant virtualized mainframe test environments.

Integration of virtualized environments with orchestration and provisioning workflows.

Familiarity with disaster recovery replication and backup automation for mainframe and hybrid environments.

Ability to automate compliance reporting for batch jobs, user access, and workflow security.

Exposure to data encryption and key management in mainframe orchestration workflows.
