Job description:

Purpose:

To visit homes and collect accurate site information needed to design and install a solar

power system. Ensures safe, complete, and timely documentation.

Basic Profile:

  • Education: Vocational graduate or college-level (Electrical, ECE, or related field)
  • Experience: At least 1 year in site survey or fieldwork (solar, electrical, or construction)
  • Preferred Certification: TESDA NCII – Solar PV, RME, or REE
  • Driver's License: Required (motorcycle or company car)
  • Know how to operate drones

Main Tasks:

  1. Visit the client's home (as scheduled by Sales team)

  2. Measure roof size, tilt, orientation, and material

  3. Check shading (trees, nearby buildings, etc.)

  4. Inspect main electrical panel and load capacity

  5. Identify access points for installation (ladder, scaffolding)

  6. Take clear, labeled photos (roof, panel, surroundings)

  7. Be polite and professional; refer all questions to Sales

Post-Visit Report (Submit within 24 hours):

  • Use company-provided form or app (e.g., Google Form, Excel)
  • Include the following in the report:

o Roof dimensions and layout sketch

o Photos of roof, panel, surroundings (with labels)

o Electrical panel details and observations

o Notes on site access and installation risks

o Any special issues or follow-up needs

  • Upload files to company drive or system
  • Reports must be submitted directly to the Design Engineers for review and system

planning

Client Info Limitation:

  • Do not ask for personal or billing information unless approved by Sales
  • Do not discuss pricing, design, or system specs
  • Direct all client concerns to the assigned Sales Officer

Skills Needed:

  • Accurate measuring and observation
  • Timely and complete reporting
  • Basic knowledge of solar setups
  • Good communication and respectful behavior
  • Follows safety rules and reporting procedures

  • Compass/inclinometer or sun path app
  • Smartphone (for GPS and photos)
  • PPE (helmet, gloves, shoes) if needed
  • Company reporting tools (digital forms or app)
  • Drone for roof assessment
