About the role

As the Prio Authorization Team Leader at Access Healthcare Services Manila, Inc., you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality, efficient prior authorisation services to our clients. This is a full-time position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare BPO business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and supervise a team of prior authorisation specialists, setting clear goals and expectations to drive performance
  2. Provide coaching and training to team members to develop their skills and knowledge
  3. Monitor team productivity and quality metrics, and implement strategies to continuously improve performance
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to team members on complex prior authorisation cases
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as client relations and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery
  6. Identify and address any process bottlenecks or areas for improvement
  7. Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and process enhancements

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a healthcare BPO or call centre environment
  2. Extensive knowledge of prior authorisation processes and regulations in the healthcare industry
  3. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders
  6. Proficiency in using relevant software and technology to support team operations
