Company Introduction

We are a established and professional scrap metal recycling company based in Valenzuela City. We specialize in the large-scale recycling of industrial non-ferrous and ferrous metals, including manufacturing scrap, end-of-life equipment, and various metal waste. We provide efficient, reliable, and environmentally responsible recycling solutions for businesses.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Associate (Bookkeeper) to manage the financial records of our stainless-steel scrap trading business. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of day-to-day accounting, including transaction recording, inventory reconciliation, invoicing, and assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting. Familiarity with the trading and scrap metal industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and maintain daily financial transactions related to scrap purchases, sales, and logistics
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices and process vendor payments
  • Reconcile bank, cash, and credit accounts on a regular basis
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Maintain accurate records of scrap inventory and cost tracking
  • Monitor and reconcile supplier and customer accounts
  • Assist with payroll, tax filings, and statutory compliance
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
  • Liaise with external accountants for audits and end-of-year reporting
  • Ensure all financial data is accurate, up-to-date, and securely stored

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to handle high-volume transaction environments
  • Able to remain organized and productive in a dynamic and high-activity environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • With at least 3 years experience in the same field.
  • Experience in the scrap metal or trading industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of inventory and logistics accounting
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Certification in bookkeeping or accounting is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php19,000.00 per month
