We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper to join our team and help maintain our financial integrity.
Position Overview:
The Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. A strong background in accounting systems and software is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline bookkeeping processes and generate reports.
- Assist with tax preparation and audits as needed.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support various accounting tasks
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks or similar).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
